Let's talk about the Death Penalty. Those against it say that it is hypocritical. They argue that if you think that killing is wrong, you can't punish someone by killing them, as this is hypocritical. Hmmm.... Now, let's suppose that someone steals lots of money from someone else. Obviously, it's wrong to steal money. Thus, I suppose it would be a hypocritical punishment to fine the person who stole money. Taking money is wrong, so we can't take his money from him as a punishment. Geez, with this kind of logic, you couldn't put people in jail either, since it is wrong to steal away people's time. Gosh, you just can't punish anyone because it would be hypocritical. This is the kind of logic that some people who are against the death penalty are using.
