Anyway, I got other stuff to talk about other than my trip. I listened to the Presidential debate this evening. Clinton mentioned something about no nuclear warheads are aimed at American children. Maybe that's because the nuclear warheads are not aimed at children. Maybe they are aimed at adults or at buildings. What is this emphasis on children? I mean whether they are aimed at children or buildings or whatever, the issue is not about children, but about all of us. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think the purpose of nuclear weapans is to kill children. That is a side effect.

Clinton also said that former Israeli prime minister Rabin gave his life for peace. I don't see it that way. He didn't give his life. Someone killed him. To give your life would be to run into a burning building to save people. I think it's really stretching it to say that you gave your life when someone killed you.

My last complaint about this debate is the following: I was listening to it on KNX 1070 in LA. Every half hour, they interupt the debate for station ID. They speak over Dole and Clinton and say "You are listening to the presidential debate from Hartford, Connecticut. This is KNX 1070". Did they really need to do that? I mean maybe they could just say "KNX". They don't need to say a whole sentence, let alone 2.
