I hate when movies don't make sense. Most people don't seem to mind for some reason. I saw "The Fan" the other night. It takes place in San Francicso during baseball season 1996. As the movie goes on, they mention that it's Memorial Day weekend. Then, not too much later in the movie, it is raining in SF. It is still the same baseball season. I suppose it could be a few months later, but it is certainly still summertime. Baseball season ends in early October and there is nothing to sugest that it is anywhere near the end of the season. Anyway, in the movie, there is a big rainstorm more than once during baseball season. I suppose it's not totally impossilbe that this could happen in real life, but it's highly unlikely. I mean it was significant rain, like the kind we get in January, not in June or July or August. I mean if they wanted to have rain in the movie, they should have made the movie take place in NY or something so that it would make sense.
