Why are people so stupid? This is why terrorism works. People actually think that there is some huge risk in America now. Some white trash plants a pipe bomb and one person dies. Yeah, it's horrible for that person's family, but only 1 person died. On the same day in this country, there were surely hundreds of people who were killed by guns and by cars. These are much bigger risks than bombs. Why can't people see this? They drive around without their seat belts on and are afraid to go to Atlanta. Let's see, there are about 5 million people in Atlanta. And only a dozen were severly hurt. That's about one in half a million people there. Hmmm.....that's pretty good odds. Probably better odds than the trip there if you travel by car without your seat belt. Why are people such stupid hypocrites?

The president is promising more security and all that. Why do politicans seem to only act on things when the public is scared. The risks today are no more than they were a month ago. If we should have more security now, we should have had it a month ago. The real risks in society are not bombs. Automobiles are far more damaging to society. If we should do anything to increase the safety of this country, then we should make cars safer, get rid of all cars without airbags, etc. Adding a couple metal detectors or having armed guards isn't going to make the world a safer place.
