October 14, 1996

Reading the newspaper today, I found a few errors that I thought I'd point out here. In the "weather" column it says, "October is definately my favorite month of the year. The days start getting shorter......" This is false. They days continue to get shorter. The days are short. Those are fine. But the days started getting shorter in June. It's like if you have a sine wave and you say that it starts to get lower when it is already almost at it's lowest point. I mean in June the days slowly start to get shorter. By September, they are really getting totally shorter, and by now in October, they are already pretty short, though still getting shorter.
