There is talk in the news about American Airlines pilots going on strike. They set a deadline, midnight Eastern Time. I'm thinking, they threaten to go on strike at this arbitrary hour. So, like there is a pilot flying a plane over the ocean and all of a sudden he's like, "I'm going on strike now. I'm not going to fly this plane anymore". This could be quite effective, though surely illegal.
