I was at a women's basketball game the other day. I prefer women's games, in part, because the fans are more civil. They are less likely to insult the other team's player's mothers and stuff like that. But, still there are personal insults slung, even at women's basketball games. This one girl fouled out. She was basically having a temper tantrum. She was like jumping up and down and crying and burying her face in her shirt. And some fan near the player's bench yelled out, "Get over it. You're not a 2-year old." Yeah, the guy is right. She should get over it. She is not a two year old, but he didn't need to say this out loud. I mean, just cuz she is on the other team is not sufficient reason to insult her. It's just not nice. I mean it's not as if the fan was angry at her and emotionally mad at her or something. He was just casually insulting her for no reason, but to entertain himself. Does he not feel bad about this?
